What began in 1989 with Mr. Mateo’s dedication to quality rubber products evolved into JIMTER in 2006, serving growing demands from both small businesses and large corporations.
By 2019, operations expanded further under JMAT, relocating to a larger facility in Imus, Cavite, to support bulk production and advanced manufacturing. In 2021, the company transitioned into Mater Legacy Corporation, proudly launching the MATLEX brand—built on the same commitment to reliability, quality, and innovation.
Today, Matlex Rubber continues to serve clients nationwide, offering premium rubber parts, sheetings, and custom solutions. We invest in technology, people, and processes to exceed customer expectations. Timeline
Mr. Mateo founded the business as a well-known supplier of custom-made rubber products to small entrepreneurs.
Established JIMTER in Las Piñas to meet growing client demand, expanding from small entrepreneurs to large corporations.
Launched MATLEX as a reliable supplier of industrial rubber products. Established JMAT with larger facilities (4,168 sqft total) in Imus, Cavite for bulk production.
Achieved 80% sales growth and transitioned to MATER LEGACY CORPORATION, solidifying the MATLEX brand for quality rubber products.
